Finally the super September is about to end. This 1 month has taught a lot. I have got a new perspective of dealing with things in life. Travelling alone has always fascinated me and this month has again given me this opportunity. Journey started with my favorite city Bengaluru. This city always welcomes me with open arms and gives me the freedom of travelling alone SAFELY. When I took airport shuttle for my cousin's place I had few emotional baggages in my mind regarding things I left midway when I left Delhi. But slowly it all went off and I started enjoying my company by exploring the new parts of the city. After reaching Mahadevpura, I saw an altogether different side of the city which resembled Chennai a lot. During my entire stay I went back to that phase when I left home alone for the first time. Today on the occasion of Women’s day I came across one headline in the newspaper saying “Kerala Orphanage: 7 girls sexually abused, blackmailed over 2 months”. Aren’t these orphanages supposed to be the shelter homes for little kids? As per the best of my knowledge, these orphanages were supposed to be a safe shelter place for those children who do not have anybody in this world to take care of them. But today these shelter homes have become child trafficking platforms. Our cruel society works beneath these NGO’s/shelter homes. I myself came across one of them a few years back when I started working for one of them thinking that finally I have achieved something in my life by associating myself with some noble cause. But soon after joining the organization I started observing some unusual things happening inside the organization.
